We are half way through term 3 now and Year 5's learning is coming together very well. 

In English we have been learning about how to construct a persuasive feature article. We have completed our own feature article based on a black pantha in Flotsam. We had to convince our reader whether or not there really is one roaming around the outskirts of town.

In Maths we have been learning and practicing multiplication and division. 

In Religion we have chosen a celebration and written an article about it. We have also explored Mary MacKillop's life and discussed the significant difference she has made to many people's lives. 

In Business Economics we have explored the features of receipts and bank statements, we then constructed our own receipt and bank statement.
