Prep News
Prep has been working on recalls and what they were learning for the day. Over the past few weeks we have been trying every afternoon to list one thing we learned in Prep that day. These wonderful books will be sent home at the end of the term for Prep parents to look through and keep. The students have to trace and write as well and it shows their fantastic writing growth this term.
In Maths we have started learning about Statistics and Probability. Today we collected some data about the way we travel to school, and our favourite fruits between apple, coconut and watermelon. The students loved getting to vote for their favourite fruit and with their voting person they decorated and counted how many each fruit had. We also discussed which had the most and which had the least.
In Religion we are learning about the Life of Jesus and the Easter Story. The students are all very excited about the coming of Easter and it is marvelous they get to learn the meaning behind the holiday they all love so much.
