Year 3 News
Dear Year 3 Families and Friends,
With the Term Four coming to an end, it is a bittersweet feeling packing up the classroom and farewelling the Year Three class of 2020. I can say without a doubt that each child has grown and progressed whether it be socially or academically, and they are all showing the signs of readiness for Year Four. I am so proud of the milestones they have made from achieving Year Three content from the Australian Curriculum, solving problems calmly, to gaining a better understanding of self-regulation and the zones of regulation. As reports are sent home this week, I hope you spend some time celebrating the successes of this semester with your child. Thank you, parents for your ongoing support this year, for being proactive and responsive and always supporting decisions made with your child’s best interests at heart.
The Christmas festivities commenced last Friday with Starry Starry Night. Year Three did a spectacular job at singing Glory by Matt Maher and Aussie Jingle Bells. Their enthusiasm and creativity are to be commended.
From the Year Three students and I, we wish you a blessed and merry Christmas. May the season of Advent remind you to prepare for the most special gift of all…Jesus.
Enjoy the holidays, stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all in 2021.
Kindest regards,
Mrs Michelle Gear
