Well what a year it has been. It has flown by so quickly but it is so nice to see how much each of the students have grown; academically, physically and emotionally. I want to thank all of the parents for a wonderful year and I look forward to seeing many faces around in 2020. I wish you all a restful break. 

Our attendance these past 2 weeks has been a little low with 12 out of 20 of our students attending 95% of the time. We have been tying up units of work and are about to delve into the meaning of Christmas with a variety of activities. The past two weeks we have finalised our procedural texts and I was blown away but such detailed instructions. Our Math lessons we have looked at angles and symmetry and are about to finish off with some mass and capacity activities. In Religion lessons the students got to practice writing prayers and have shown their commitment to creating time and space for the reading of these. 

We will be making our pizza box solar oven early in the week and hope to see some tasty treats heated to perfection. Our annual swimming carnival was a hit with so many of the Year 3 students showing their personal best in and out of the pool. The students have all prepared so well for Starry Starry Night and you would agree with me in saying they sounded angelic. 

We are now looking forward to the last few days of school with so much still to happen. Our Principal’s Morning Tea, The Fun Day and the final day of school for the year is definitely upon us.
