Welcome back to another term. 

We have been busy with many new learning concepts and are keen to find out more. 

In English we finished off our Poetry unit and have started to look at Information Reports. We are looking at the structure and are then learning about Language Features. Our vocabulary is growing with many new terms learnt each and every day. 

Our Math lessons have been focused around learning our times tables. We will learn our 0, 1, 2, 3. 5, 9 and 10 times tables. 

In history we discovered that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders tell stories that focus on the land owning us, not us owning the land. 

In Science we are learning about the Earth, Moon and Sun, which is the theme for this years science week. The health focus is based on developing good friends and how to be a good friend. We have looked at what a friend is and how they make us feel. 

Superheros are always exciting so our Religion lessons are a hit. Heros from the bible makes us realise those figures play a special role in some of our favourite bible stories. Our attendance has been amazing since returning this term with 19 out of 21 students here more than 90% of the time. Keep up the fantastic work.
