Hello Year 4 families!  

What an amazing term in Year 4! We dived into writing and presenting Information Reports! We learnt how to research and write factual sentences! We published and presented our reports and shared them with the class! We are now learning about complex sentences! Just ask us what they are!  

In Maths, we tackled fractions and decimals in term! One of the trickiest concepts in Year 4. We placed fractions and decimals on number lines and discovered the relationship of equivalence between many fractions. 1/2 is the same as 2/4!  

In Science we discovered how forces work in our everyday lives and presented our findings to the class! In Geography, we investigated Sustainability and the importance of it in relation to conserving resources!  

The highlights of this term were definitely our sporting events! AFL, Cricket and the Athletics Carnival were incredible experiences. Everyone showed excellent sportsman ship.
