Welcome to Term 4!  

It’s been a wonderful start to Term 4 easing back into our routine and getting back to some exciting new topics. Science sees us exploring the way things move and we’ve enjoyed exploring different types of movements we can make with our bodies and the different ways toys can move too. In Religion, we have been looking at different celebrations in the church and are very engaged in learning about Baptism and the special symbols that represent important parts of this special time. In Geography, we’ve started looking at maps and how these vary based on the different contexts they’re used in. Technologies has seen us collecting data and presenting this data in different ways. This week we used SeeSaw so stay tuned for our uploads showing different birthdays and eye colours of the students in Prep. We’ve jumped straight back into our reading, writing of story retells and speaking in English and in Maths, have continued building our number sense around numbers to 30 and beyond. Health will see us this term exploring respectful relationships and interactions with others while in The Arts, we are learning to create and narrate a digital story to share. Lastly, in PE we look forward to more work around movement and games with Mr Harrington.  

Such a busy and exciting term planned and we can’t wait to share some of the exciting things we are working on in class with you soon. We had such a great time learning about what the plant will need to grow big and strong and look forward to watching it grow throughout our primary school journey just like we will be too.
