What a great start we have had to Term 3. Students have been busy engaging in new learnings with all learning subjects.  

In our Religion lessons we have started to have a look at the history of First Century Jerusalem with students exploring maps and scripture that are directly linked to that area of the world.  We will be moving into learning about The Decalogue (10 Commandments) and why these laws have been created.  

In Maths students completed some work around symmetry and grid references and are now looking at angles. We will be learning how to use a protractor correctly and the different types of angles in our familiar environments.  

In English we have started to have a look at persuasive text writing with us looking at modality words and the purpose of us writing persuasive texts. Students will move into the structure and will start to create their own text in the coming weeks.  

Our Geography lessons started us off with finding out that we are going to be travel consultants and explore Africa and South America. Living things and life cycles are what our main focus is going to be during our Science lessons with us exploring different animals and plants growth.
