Hi Families, 

It has been a big couple of weeks in the senior learning hub. We’ve been busy finishing off our learning about who has influenced our world where we explored famous and influential scientists. We’ve been deepening our knowledge on light and electricity.  

We were lucky enough to meet Dr Karl on Thursday and had an awesome 45-minute zoom session with him where we asked our developed science questions! Some students sat up close to the laptop, introduced themselves and asked their question. Dr Karl answered the best he could, and the students were all exhausted mentally by the end of it! As teachers we were so proud of the learners in the hub and they represented our school in such a respectful manner.  

Ove the past Term four students from our class were selected to participate in the Readers Cup! It has been a great challenge and a development of persistence and resilience when studying the books during their own time. The team performed amazingly on Thursday via zoom with those 200 other teams.
