ANZAC Day  

To show our respect and remember the Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in war, St Joseph's will be holding an ANZAC Day Liturgy at 2pm on Monday 24th April. Please join us in the Flexible Learning Area for the whole school liturgy led by the Year 3 class. 

You are also invited to join the Weipa RSL Sub Branch Memorial Dawn Service on Tuesday 25th April. There will be a procession from the roundabout located on Central Avenue and Hibberd Drive to Memorial Square. The parade will assemble at 5:15am and commence at 5:25am. A service will follow after the parade. 
 

Please ensure children have water and something to eat beforehand as this is a standing event. 

We hope to see you there to show support and honour for those who have served our country. 

Eating and Tuckshop Reminders  

Throughout the day students have three eating breaks 

1. Fruit Break/ Crunch and Sip in class (10mins) Fruit and vegetables only @ approx. 9:30am
2. First Break- 10 min eating time and lunch orders 
3. Second Break- 10 min eating time and lunch orders 

The Tuckshop service is only provided at First and Second Break. Parents are responsible for sending in a piece of fruit or vegetable for fruit break / crunch and sip.
