The word on the street is that the Senior Learning Hub students are busy learning about garden designs this term. We have created a Google Site which we will be adding all of our English produce fact files, as well as any extra information we think is relevant to show our understanding. We already have reviewed the life cycle of a plant and identified some of the environmental features that may impact produce from growing.  

Our vocabulary for Business and Economics is growing with the seniors' defining terminology as well as providing examples to show their understanding. We look forward to conducting our experiments next week and creating data displays to identify the impacts of environmental features on plant growth. In Maths we have had a focus on finance with students looking at discounts and sale prices added to items that they could potentially add to their garden design.  

Judaism has been a focus during Religion where students have identified beliefs, holidays and what Jewish people consider sacred. Students have made the connection that the first five books from both our bible and their bible. The seniors have also been busy practicing for the Just Dance concert in Week 4. Everything is coming together nicely and they will shine on the night.  

 We have changed back to homework and library borrowing to Fridays again this term. Students are encouraged to bring devices home to charge at least twice a week, so they have them ready for learning.
