Our little library is buzzing along with many new books coming into our library each term. Our amazing school officers try and get these out quickly so our students have a diverse range of books to read. In particular our up year level readers. Our termly subscriptions for Literacy Pro delivers a great mix of fiction books with an occasional non fiction book. Students often look in the ‘New Book’ section or our wire racks first before searching the shelves. Students are always welcome to make suggestions and we try our best to meet those requests. Please feel free to pass on requests to our school secretary email.  

Leading up to the Amazing Race during Book Week/Science Week we will be looking at some of the books off the shortlist by the CBCA (Children’s Book Council of Australia). Students will have to recall some details from the books and use this knowledge during the amazing race. Students will start looking at these books next week with up to 6 books before the Amazing Race. Look our for some pictures in the next fortnightly newsletter or Facebook posts.
