Hello Parents and Caregivers and welcome to Term 3! 

All year we have been keeping track of how many days we have been at school. This week we were all very excited to FINALLY celebrate 100 days of school with all of the Year One and Prep classes. We participated in a range of different learning activities across the classrooms with the theme of 100 such as: 

• playing race to 100 on a board game
• creating cup towers with 100 cups 
• counting trail mixes with cereal in groups of 10 (that we got to eat at the end!) 
• decorating 100 days of school crowns 
• finger painting gum balls, and 
• drawing what we might look like when we are 100. 

 The students were invited to dress up with a theme of “100” and we had some amazing looking grandpas and grandads as well as some dresses and shirts with 100 “things” on them.  

 It was a fantastic celebration that will surely be remembered over the years. I loved seeing the students so engaged and focused during their groups and being great role models to the Prep students.
