Cross Country What a great event we shared last Thursday as a community. The track was smooth, the students ran early, every child finished their race. Best of all was the Team spirit shown by everyone and how they displayed resilience and determination.
I was extremely proud of everyone’s efforts during the day and am thankful to have such a supportive team of parents and staff who helped out immensely. Special mention to our Yr 6 leaders who were awesome on the day in their running effort but also their spirit and encouragement on and off the track.

Congratulations to Tremaine Tapim, Luke Wright and Jackson Reynolds who have made the Cape team to represent our school in a few weeks in Cairns. We will continue training and we wish them all the best down there. Fantastic effort boys!

AFL Lessons Matt and Kieran have been teaching AFL skills to each grade the last 2 weeks. Lots of active games and skill development include The Handball Challenge and Kick Race with Yr 4/5/6. The Kicking Goal challenge for Yr 2 & 3 and for P to 2 was the 10 point skill challenge! Seeing the students kick balls around and just have fun while learning skills is such a pleasure to watch. The growth in confidence with ball handling skills has been amazing. The students have 3 more lessons this term.
AUSKICK AFTER SCHOOL ON A WEDNESDAY Our school has registered close to 70 students for the afterschool AUSKICK program. WOW! Great fun and building on the skills we are learning in PE lessons.
