Hello families of Year 4, 

We have had another great start to the term! We have been busy making special gifts for our Mother’s Day Picnic. I hope you all enjoy them, we had so much fun making each one!  

Over the past few weeks in maths the students have been learning and practicing calculating change to the closest 5c. We set up a small class shop, and each student had the chance to purchase and give change.  

In English, Year 4 are writing information reports on different animals. We have looked at language features, text structures and what makes a great paragraph. Each week we will have a look at our learning road and see what we are up to and what we need to do next to reach our end goal! 

I hope you all have a lovely weekend and a Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums and mum-like people in our lives.
