In the Hub we have made a great start to our 2022 learning journey. Students have been learning how to use the new space by participating in a variety of activities. We have been creating a collaborative small group narrative in our writing lessons. Students have worked hard on improving sentences to ensure they are engaging for the reader or listener. 

During Math lessons we have been using familiar units of measurement to measure the perimeter of objects or places within our school community. Students loved using the trundles to measure the basketball court as well as the big 1m rulers in the classroom space. We have also been learning about factors, multiples, prime numbers and composite numbers. Some of us even got the chance to learn about square numbers and triangular numbers. 

Our Religion lessons have revolved around St Joseph as well as communities. We identified communities we are a part of and why they are important to us. There were many of our Seniors recognising that being a part of a community makes us feel like we belong and that we have a common interest. We also recognised that a community takes more than just 1 person. 

Cross Country training is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Look out for Homework Friday afternoon.
