Year 6 News

FINAL FOREVER FAREWELL!!!!

Recycling Committee

This Term the recycling committee has been collecting poppers for the RFDS, Royal Flying Doctors Service. This Term we have raised $105.00 to go to the people that are in need for help and for the people that are sick. Our Goal was to raise $100.00 but instead we got up to $105.00 and more.   We thank all the students and teachers for supporting us to reach our goal to raise these funds.

Mission Day

Today at our Mission day we sold most of our handmade items and all the kids loved the cupcakes that we made. We all had so much fun and the teachers really liked the cup cakes. The pom poms were the most popular, then cupcakes. We made $218.00 and that was not including the stress balls! What a great effort.

Graduation Night

At the Year 6 Graduation we had to dress up in a formal outfit. The boys had to wear a nice, neat outfit and the girls had to wear a beautiful dress.  It was so awesome, and the speeches were amazing. All of Year Six got to write an award for each other and they were all so kind and thoughtful.

At the end we all played cops and robbers together and it was a good way to spend our last time together.

The Kumrumja Centre looked pretty awesome!

On Thursday we went to the pool as a reward for our great work throughout the year. Miss Libby and Ms Gear celebrated with us. We played Marco Polo, tiggy, Ultimate Footy and bullrush.  It was a cool way to finish off the year.
