Year 3 News
Year Three have been working hard to complete their assessment in the past two weeks. They have been very busy completing a poem review, a science melting experiment and a research project on the Great Barrier Reef.
As the Year 2021 comes to a close for St Joseph’s Parish School, Weipa I have asked the Year Three students to reflect on the year that has been. Here some of their responses:
My favourite memory from Year Three was my teachers. - Alex
My favourite memory from Year Three was being able to use the laptops. - Domonic
My favourite memory from Year Three was the Colour Run. - Dylan, Jed, Tye
My favourite memory from Year Three was when everyone included me in handball and that I made a bunch of kind friends. - Vanessa
My favourite memory from Year Three was the Cross Country and swimming carnival. - Jackson
My favourite memory from Year Three was having redeem time at 12:45pm everyday. - Grayson
The students are most looking forward to having a new classroom, meeting their new teacher and learning new things in Year Four 2022.
Overall it has been a productive term in Year Three. I have enjoyed the students’ keen interest in number facts and I believe this is the area of learning that has progressed the most for our class.
