Hello Prep Families,  

 English:  

Students demonstrated their fantastic writing and recall skills. They listened to the story, recalled, and wrote three things that happened in the story. Students then used their technological skills to record themselves retelling their story to share with the class.  

Maths:  

Students have been showing their fantastic addition skills adding big numbers to 20 together. They have been using different representations and of numbers and matching these together to extend their number knowledge.  

Religion: 

Students have been learning about the how Christmas is celebrated in the church. We use different decorations like advent wreaths, candles, stars, the nativity and angels. Students used their knowledge to plan where and what decorations we could put up in our Catholic classroom.   

Science:  

Students have been doing an investigation of the way things move. They observed different ways that objects moved and compared the objects before deciding on which would be best for playing a rolling game based on the way it moved.
