Hello Year 4 families,  

As the term comes closer to the end, the students have been showing lots of resilience and eagerness to learn as they work through assessment tasks to finish the year on a high! We have written persuasive texts, analysed and represented data and examined how forces affect our lives.  We are still working through our Music program, as well as continuing our lead up to Christmas by learning about Advent in Religion lessons.  

This week Josh Arnold and his team have been working with us to create a Road Safety song. The whole school will once again be a part of this song with some dancing and students doing some singing. We are very lucky to have Josh visit and really excite the children about creating a song with a message. It was a lovely surprise for the students when Josh came and sang with them on Tuesday morning instead of listening to a recording! The students have been practising our songs each day at school, and we may even surprise everyone with some simple actions for one of the songs.
