Year 3 News
Wow, it is hard to believe we are at the end of week 6 already! . This week Miss Sinnamon has unfortunately been absent but we have still been working very hard in her absence. The Grade 3's have been busy completing lots of assessment tasks this week.
In Science, the students conducted a melting experiment with ice and chocolate. They had to predict which one would melt first and examined what the solids looked like after timed increments. The results surprised some of them and luckily we have some nice warm weather in Weipa to be able to conduct the experiment effectively.

Students also received their water bottles with their names on it this week, thank-you parents for completing the school survey.
The Grade 3's have also been working very hard on our Starry, Starry Night performance with Josh Arnold. The students came up with their own actions to Dino-Mite and I look forward to watching their performance on Friday evening. The students have also been working on a road safety song with Josh and his crew.
Enjoy the last couple of weeks with your children before we break for the school holidays.
